Dream Interpretation

What do our dreams mean? What purpose do they serve? Our dreams are an important link between our conscious self and our unconscious self. In dreamtime the conscious self is set aside, and we can access the universal wisdom of our subconscious. It is here that we work out solutions to the problems/issues that we are facing during waking hours.

The images and symbols that appear in our dreams come from our waking life, and are unique to each of us (as is our response to these images and symbols). They come from our experiences, and the emotions that we attach to those experiences. Fire may terrify you, but it might mean warmth in a cold night to me, or stories told around a camp fire to someone else.

Our dreams are meant to give us insight into ourselves. Your psychic reading is meant to act as a guide to help you identify what your dream symbols mean to you, from what part of your life they are coming from, and what, if any, actions you should take in response to your dream.

Have you ever dreamt that you were falling? If you are falling in your dream, there is something in your waking life that is making you feel insecure, or anxious. Somewhere in your life you are feeling things are totally out of your control. A falling dream can also indicate feelings of failure.

Have you ever dreamt that you were flying? Flying dreams generally indicate that you feel in control of your life, and that things are going well. Flying dreams can also occur when you have had insight into an issue, and see it in a different manner.

Recurring dreams will retain the theme of the dream, while the individual aspects of the dream may change. What you need to know here is that the dream is asking you to pay attention to it. I had such a recurring dream from as early as I can remember until my mid-twenties. I don’t remember a conscious resolution, but it has not recurred since that time.

Healing dreams should be taken as messages that we need to take care of some area of our physical health. They are gentle nudges from our bodies to take care of  ourselves.

Do you want to remember your dreams on a more consistent basis? Before you go to sleep, place the intention out to universe that when you wake up, you will remember your dreams. Dreams are powerful tools of empowerment – learn to work with yours!
